(Another option is to use graphics as the background of each page, instead of just a flat color, such as a muted background of music notes, of mushrooms, of suns and moons, etc., etc. or a border around each page that coordinates with your company)

Do you like the idea of the addition of a few well-chosen graphics (in cartoon form) throughout your site?

Please detail and describe any and all specifics, details, and necessities concerning the design of your site that you can think of right now.  Please be sure to consider and know exactly what you want to accomplish for your site-- so that we know exactly what you want.  The design of your site must be according to your specifications in order to end up being what you want it to be.  We can only create and design from the information you give to us.  Please tell us specifically, if you are getting a five page site, what you want those 5 pages to be titled, what you want on each of the 5 pages... and yes, you MUST give us any and all industry information, company information, and product information.  If your website information must be researched by us instead of given by you, we charge our Research & Development rate of $25/hour to accumulate the industry and company information and links for your site.

Information on Specific Pages, Specific Wording, Specific Industry Information you wish to have used, Specific Product Information and Pricing that will be used on the site, and all other necessary details that will not be provided in your promotional material:

 

The step between designing your site and having it on the World Wide Web, is choosing your Domain Name (URL) for your business.  This is the "address" people type in to find your website.  We will register your name for you, if you wish, for $35.00 plus gst.  To get a head start on it, feel free to provide us with the Domain Name you prefer for your site, and we'll search to see if it's available.  If it is, we can collect the fee at our next meeting, or you can mail it to us.

Domain Name Preference: (.com is the most widely used extension; however, .ca is used if you want to be distinguished as strictly a Canadian company; .org and .net are used by some organizations and networks-- but research does show that .com is still searched before any other extensions.  Another piece of advice to consider:  it is wise practice to try and register whatever name you decide upon in BOTH .com and .net, because your competition will get to the opposite extension and will get your side-traffic that misses you in a search.  It is well worth the extra $35/year.)    

 

  I understand, and hereby agree, that Promotional Websites at special prices are based on the agreement that the completed website will be hosted with CreatorsDesign, at $198/yr (plus gst), and that the remaining fees and hosting will be collected at site completion within about 2-4 weeks of receiving this form.

  I understand that submitting this form to CreatorsDesign constitutes an agreement between me and CreatorsDesign for a Website Design. 

  I understand and agree that CreatorsDesign can only design a site based on information and details given to them by me.  The site will only contain information given unless CreatorsDesign is hired to research information for me, at $25/hour, with a minimum one hour charge.

  I understand and agree that once CreatorsDesign has designed the website based on all information given to them, it is my responsibility to address any revisions that I wish to have completed, and it is my responsibility to give all required information to them in a timely fashion so that they can work on and finish the site within the agreed 2-4 week period of time, and to then settle the account for hosting and/or management.  Excessive revisions or a major change from setup information given on this form can result in extra charges at $25/hour-- clients are notified of this occurring beforehand.

I understand and agree that any included digital photo appointments are made accordingly:  one appointment is included in the price, and it is my responsibility to ensure that I have a clear idea what photos I want taken for my website, and to have all necessary items, people, and products in one place for this appointment.  Additional appointments may be charged a $50 fee.

   We will be honest, and more than fair in all of our business affairs.

    Your business needs will always be considered first, and we will do everything possible to make sure your website, your management, and your other business services that we care for are to your complete satisfaction at all times.

    What we need from you:

    Please remember that our time is what we use to make our business grow and thrive, and how we make a living.  We put limitations on revisions and changes, only because our generosity can be taken advantage of and we need to avoid this.  It is imperative that you either know upfront what you want as a result from us, or else come to that knowledge through discussions with us-- but we cannot develop what you want without your specific input.  Please respect our requests of you, as they are made, and our time structures for completing the site and having it hosted.  Please be very clear in your communication to us about exactly what you want.  We are always available via email, telephone, and fax.

If we have not yet collected your promotional material (brochures, business cards, catalogues, press releases, product lists, etc), we will be in touch over the next 2-3 days to do so.

As we design your site, we will post it in stages on the Web, for you to observe online, and make the revisions you wish to make.
